These are my gorgeous friends Kris and Ashley.  Ashley is a photographer based out of Waco.  She came in town this weekend so we went out around Keller and took some pictures.  I absolutely love these photos.

This is the Hart family.  When Angela called me from Houston, she told me she was coming into Dallas to see her sister and nieces this weekend.  When discussing a location, she described themselves as “serious”.  Ok, maybe a little   I would describe myself as the same. But I had an absolute ball with this family.  I see them more as serene and relaxed, which makes my job easy.  Oh, did I mention how beautiful they are and that they all love the camera??  We ended up deciding to go to the Dallas Arboretum for their amazing landscapes.

There is something about freezing water in motion that is so fascinating!  Everyone has seen these images a hundred times, but it seems every photographer must still try their hand at it.  After 207 photos taken and my kitchen covered in water, this is the one image I am really happy with!  I will try it again now that I got the basic technique down to see if I can do better.

Geeky photography info:  Nikon D300, Sigma 105mm macro, f/9, 1/250. Off-shoe flash, 45° camera right, bouncing off poster board.  WB: Tungsten for blue color.
Post processing: Crop, sharpen, enhance vignetting.

I can’t believe this little guy is turning two!  Landon was my very first client when he was only 3 months old!  We went to the stockyards to take his pictures.  Children seem to really enjoy it down there.  The only hard part is getting them to pay any attention to me!

I actually had the opportunity to be one of the photographer’s for Melissa and David’s wedding this past Summer.  Between their busy schedules and moving to New York and back, they never got any engagement pictures taken, so they asked to have a post-wedding session.

These pictures were taken in Downtown Denton around the courthouse.
