Let me tell you, I have the best job ever. Many of my clients and friends know that I am a part of Operation: Love Reunited. This charity has introduced me to some wonderful people. My first “coming home” session was Dwayne & Misty.
Misty contacted me while Dwayne was in Afphanistan. You see, Dwayne & Misty were childhood friends/sweethearts. They grew up together. Then, one day Dwayne went off to boot camp and Misty went to college. They lost touch from eachother until 13 years later! I was lucky enough to be there to capture Dwayne’s brother, sister, son and Misty meet him at the airport. It was the first time Dwayne & Misty had seen eachother in all those years. I’ve been friends with these guys ever since!
After 2 short weeks, Dwayne went back overseas to finish his tour. Meanwhile, they got engaged and Misty moved up to Washington. Dwayne is now home! They contacted me a few weeks ago telling me they were visiting Texas this weekend, and wanted me to shoot their engagement session.
They chose the very popular Fort Worth Stockyards for their session. Each time I go to a location that I have shot at before, I try to change things up. I was dragging Misty and Dwayne down alleyways and found an awesome wet, musty, hot garage 🙂 I take my clients to only the finest locations 😉 I think at one point Misty pretty much told me I was nuts, but she obliged me and I think she’s glad she did now.
Mmmm hmmm. Look at this awesome garage! I’m not so crazy afterall 😉
