Today, I am thrilled to share this gorgeous "Wizard of Oz" themed wedding (get it? over the rainbow?)!  Klint & Clint were married at the beautiful Lost Oak Winery in Burleson, Texas.  I've been a wedding photographer for 8 years and although I have had a few receptions at some Vineyards, I had yet to get to play IN the vineyards, because of time of day (dark upon arrival) or terrible weather.  On Klint and Clint's wedding day, it was beautiful and sunny for the first part of the day and we took full advantage of the gorgeous property.  And,

Back in September (yea, I'm still not doing so great on the blogging thing), I was invited to join some local wedding professionals for a styled shoot at the Woolworth in Downtown, Dallas to help them show off their amazing space for events.  Because I had experience with LGBT weddings, I was chosen to shoot the same-sex "wedding".  I had an absolute ball working with everyone involved. Here are some of my favorites from the shoot! Thank you to the LGBT-friendly vendors who helped make this shoot possible: Venue: The Woolworth, Dallas Event Planner: Chyna Crim Event Coordinator: Matthew Louzau Flowers: Lizzie Bee's Flowers Hair &

I'm so excited to share this wedding with you! Upon receiving the news that the Supreme Court decided in favor of marriage equality, me and many of my vendor friends were so excited that we wanted to do something positive for the LGBT-community.  We decided to gift our services to create a small intimate wedding for one deserving couple. We all reached out on our Facebook pages and one of my friends nominated Tracey and Mellissa.  We immediately loved them and their story, They have been together for 12 years! They were planning to have a Justice of the Peace

I'm so excited to share this great session of my new clients, John & Austin.  These guys were guests at another wedding that I photographed and Austin contacted me after to do his yearly (dating) anniversary portrait session.  Later in our conversations, Austin told me that he planned to propose to John during their session.  I was tickled to death that I got to be there to capture it!  It was the sweetest moment to witness :)   Here are some (ok a lot) of my favorites!
